When and where will the event take place?

The conference will be held on Saturday April 22, 2017 in the Douglass Ballroom at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY.

Who is speaking at the event?

We have a total of 13 speakers (including two student speakers!) representing a diverse set of disciplines. Check out our incredible speakers here.

Do I need to purchase a ticket to attend the event?

Yes, a ticket is required to attend the conference. A ticket for one session will cost $12 for students and $15 for faculty/staff. Ticket sales will begin on Tuesday, March 28 at the Common Market.

What is a session?

One session is one group of speakers. Our morning session will be held from 10:00am until 1:15pm, and our afternoon session will be held from 2:15pm until 5:45pm. The speakers during the morning and the afternoon sessions will be different.

How many tickets/seats are there?

Although we wish we could open up the event to more people, the official TEDx rules restrict the audience size to 100 members. We divided the conference into two sessions to allow more people to participate.

What time should I come to the event?

For our morning session, doors will open at 9:30am and close promptly at 10:00am. For our afternoon session, doors will open at 1:45pm and close promptly at 2:15pm. Please note that your ticket will become invalid if you arrive after the start of the session time.
